AT WORK

IN A FEW WORDS

A wake up time?

7:15 a.m. and I prepare a breakfast for the whole family.

Your pro pedigree?

As far as I can remember, I’ve always been fascinated by fashion. So when I was 20 I became Anna Wintour assistant at Vogue in NYC, I did some styling at Harper’s Bazaar and then I worked for watches at Vacheron Constantin and Jaeger-LeCoultre in Paris.

Your second career

Writing has always been my passion. So I decided to spend 100% of my time to do it and to reinvent myself as a journalist.

It takes a good dose of audacity, determination and confidence to survive as a journalism freelancer…!

But that helps me to reinvent myself constantly (even though I hate changes) and it allows me to satisfy my curiosity and my passion for meetings.

I started my blog – The Amazing Luce – two years ago. It’s my “playtime”, my freedom space. I talk there a lot about fashion, but also decoration, children, everyday time, but in my own way.

Working from home – is it difficult?

No, I really love it. In the morning I work from my room and then I always have a quick lunch to go out a little bit.

In the afternoon I work again with my computer but in the living room.

Next challenge

To be able to work with my two activities in the same time: to continue as a journalist for magazines and brands and in the same time to develop my blog.

In reality, my everyday work is a real challenge!
