WAKING UP TIME
At 6 a.m, I always am the first. I have my breakfast: my favourite meal! Fresh orange juice, Swedish bred and black smoked tea.
Every morning I ask myself: what’s going to happen to me today? My life is a succession of adventures, incredible meetings that lead me where I am.
MY RESUME
I had a first experience in communication and TV in Paris. Then I leave to follow my husband in Argentina.
In Buenos Aires I worked in the event field for 2 years. I had my two first children and we went to live in New York (for 6 years).
There I created Artishow : a concept of private selling that I organized from my home.
I started to deal with decoration, with my neighbour. Seeing my house he asked me to do the same thing for him!
DECORATION
This passion certainly came from my grandfather – a painter- and my grandmother. She had a very sure taste. Big spender and meticulous: she made embroider her tablecloths depending on the colours of her dinner services.
My eye transforms with time by growing in this environment full of wonder.
MY JOB
I am living in Lyon since seven years, I quickly started to make decoration. My friends use to ask me for furniture or items I had home so I decide to go into.
I open a first galerie, then another - Nathalie Rives – bigger, Place Gailleton. A charming place in Lyon that remind me of Italie.
At the same time I created an Agency. We have more projects that we can deal with but that’s ok. We work a lot because it’s a chance to work and live with a passion.
MY STRENGHTS
Risks don’t scare me, on the contrary, they excite me! I feel limited about nothing: neither ressources or conventions. I move forward depending on my wishes.
This state of freedom, I hope I will pass it down to my children.
But my strength is my husband, without him nothing could have been possible. He unconditionally supports me.
And my associate, Christelle Gesler. It’s a really important meeting, like a wedding! Thanks to her I can express my creativity, develop the communication, feed my inspiration, while she deals with “business”. She is very kind to me, she protects me, she defends me. And we laugh a lot!
FROM MY MISTAKES I LEARNT...
... That I used to give an advantage to content rather than style. Now I pay attention to that.
You have to draw away from work staying professional. Now I step back and see words or things less personally.
CONNECTED 24H A DAY
Yes, according to my husband. And at the same time when I go to the countryside I don’t event take my phone with me.
I don’t work from home anymore: It’s forbidden to have a laptop at home otherwise I would never stop working.
MY BIGGEST PRIDE
I don’t feel any pride, it’s more about satisfaction. As when I see in real one of the furniture I have designed! But I am not alone to do that, without craftsperson that work with me that could not be possible, I am aware of that. I love my job because it’s enable me to collaborate with many talented people.
That’s the reason why I created Bakélite, my own magazine. To talk about those people I had the chance to meet: I love other, discovering them and show their talent. our

A TIPS TO RELAX
Share a moment with friends. Friendship is a fundamental value for me.
But a lot of things enable me to relax… everything that cause pleasure, every temptation… I love to give into life!
