BEAUTY SECRETS WITH... CECILE GUERRIER

My skin routine

In the morning I clean my skin with DHC oil, then I apply a soft cleansing foam. I've tested a lot of cosmetic products. And at the moment I love the Sisley Tropical Resin Cleanser. The smell and texture are perfect.

Then I use a serum. At the moment it is the Skinceuticals Hydrating B5, a really good brand, or the moisturizing serum from Sanoflore, very nice too.

Then I put the cream from Avène, Ysthéal. Absolutely magical.

For makeup, I have a technique that I saw at L.A. on the TV trays. I just put a few products on: a concealer from Bourjois on the shaded areas, 2 balls of blush cushions of colors on the cheekbones, powder on the contour of the face and I mix it all with a big brush!

I am also fan of the light elements that I put on the cheekbones, above the lips and above the arcades (Nars).

I give the eyebrows some discipline and I pencil them, I put a black mascara - at the moment it is the last mascara from MAC- with an ergonomic brush with a spectacular result.

For the body

I don’t like putting too much cream so I eat a lot of Omega3.

But in the same time  I am crazy about body rituals or massages. My favorite addresses are listed below.

And when I want to rehydrate my skin, I go to Bains du Marais on Tuesday evening.

Sport

I only do outdoor sports: boat, hiking, running, I need nature! In Paris I walk a lot.

And then once a week I have a monodiete.

For hair

I am passionate about this subject: I will release a practical guide at SOLAR next spring.

I do not wash my hair more than twice a week because water uses them.

I use between two washes, dry shampoos.

From time to time I do Brazilian smoothings, so I look for shampoos without salt so that they won’t damage the keratin. I love Philip BRahuaDavines or Uka brands.

I systematically put on a mask. But the most important is the rinsing: it has to be long and I always finish with ice water and vinegar brilliance Christophe Robin. Magical. An organic apple vinegar mixed with water also helps a lot.

And every day I apply a Phyto or Fureterer anti-hair loss tonic or lotion. The ritual that I would not give up for anything in the world!

Every 3 weeks I do a "detox" of my hair. I have my "homemade recipe" to do it: a good mask based on rassoul, argan oil, coconut milk and 3 drops of essential oils. I leave it for ten minutes and no shampoo afterwards.

Since I do it regularly, a vegetable coloring works ten times better.

My Perfumes

It’s very important. On me, at home, in my laundry or in my bag. They really comfort me. I buy for example rhizomes d’Iris from Buly. It’s really something I love, I put it everywhere: my cabinets, my bags...

I love the smoky perfumes of ByredoMiller Harris, amber fragrances, musky, smells of powder and lipstick. A few months ago I discovered Prada's Almond Infusion. I'm crazy about it! Like the nomad musk of Annick Goutal.

And then there is Chanel No. 5 that I wear on some occasions and that I like to mix. And the soap I can not live without.

My anti-stress recipes

To keep a regular contact with nature; to give myself a few minutes of full consciousness every day by looking at the sky and the trees; to breathe through the stomach; and then to create art.

But to drink rhum and laugh with friends works pretty well too!
