Style
Fashion is actually a family affair. My parents had worked in this universe and before I have created my brand I had worked for several creators: Vanessa Bruno, Dries Van Noten, Cacharel and Innamorato. I am very attentive to cuts, to beautiful materials but I don’t really have classic choices in the matter. I guess it’s because of my family heritage: wearing clothes was and is more like a game and we’re not afraid of it!
I have an eclectic style with a “sparkle” detail – rhinestones, sequins, little mirrors. I always need to wear something that shines.
I hate stereotypes as the one of the femme fatale dressed to seduce. I prefer to show off-the-wall feminity. I enjoy diverting codes, playing with them. You will never see me dressed to please. I’m always dressed for myself.
In general I like clothes that have a structure because I think it suits me. For example, I love half-slips “new look” that mark the waist (Carven, Lanvin, & Other Stories) but also men’s clothes as my spotted suit Phillip Lim. I have several obsessions: gray sweats that I collect (I like Ashish brand that we can find on Net A Porter) and overalls (as Naf Naf as Céline). I always wear loose jeans: at least boy friend and even “grandpa” that I often by at H&M. The same thing for pants: they are always wide (Golden Goose, Chloé Stora). I like straight and short jackets that I often find at Phillip Lim or Chloé.
In the matter of tops, I often choose basics that I mostly find at COS or ZARA. I wear many t-shirts that give the impression of a “relax” style that I associate with elegant pants or skirts.
Accessories
I am neither shoes nor bags addict.
The most of time I wear flat shoes or sneakers (Acné, Converse). If I wear heels, they are thick and not too high (Marni, Prada, Isabel Marant). I have one true passion: Sweedish Hasbeen slogs that I wear the whole year even in winter with tights and socks.
I stay loyal to Chloé in matter of beautiful bags. And I have also all other kinds of bags from small brands.
On the other hand, the jewelry is another story! Even though I don’t wear a precious jewelry too often, I never go out without my jewelry or the ones of other brands such as Bala Boosté or J. Crew . But my real passion is a vintage jewelry that I buy at flea markets or at 20 sur 20 (rue Sainte Opportune, 75001).
