STYLE

My style

During the day I wear flat boots all the time (my transport is my bike), a sailor sweater and jeans – this is my everyday uniform. During the night I love dressing up. Sequins, high heels, make up… It’s certainly my actress side that stands out! Partying, music, going out, it’s an important part of my life.

And I really love 1960s/70s fashion.

The element of my closet

Jeans without hesitation. I am faithful to Acne’s “Row” high waist jeans that I collect in all the colors!

My obsession

Besides the shoes of course (!), jumpsuits and overalls that I buy at Agnès B or Isabel Marant.

Shopping

I am an impulsive consumer – a perfect client!

I like to go to Isabel Marant (rue de Saintonge), Gas By Marie (rue Etienne Marcel), Agnès B (rue du Jour), sometimes Printems or Antik Batik in the Marais.

I also buy a lot of things online: Matches, Reformation, My Theresa.

My shoes

I love flat shoes or derbies from Church’s and my Repetto ballerinas for an everyday use. When I wear high heels it’s mostly Michel Vivien or Laurence Dacade. But, obviously, I have an unthinkable number of shoes! And as far as I remember, I have always been a huge fun. I remember my first black polished babies Pomme d’Api… They were shining so obviously I loved jumping  in puddles with them.

Bags

I often change them. Most of the time I found them at Jerome Dreyfuss or Alexandre Mareuil.

Jewelry

I love Dorette, Lara Melchior, Cathy Waterman, Lise Guitton, everything from White Bird (rue du Mont-Thabor)!

I never wear costume jewelry, I prefer precious pieces.

Clothes I love

An old black satin costume that I inherited from my mom. I am careful, I take good care of my clothes. I like buying good quality clothes and have them for a long time. I am quite a collector and I like keeping my clothes.

In my closet I’m crazy about

 American Apparel t-shirts in a thick cotton round neck, a little bit like Johnny Depp in Cry Baby! I have many in my closet.

A fashion taboo

When it’s assumed, everything can be worn. I hate the idea of a “fashion police”.

I like when people have their own style and are not afraid to express their personality beyond tastes or conventions.
