Waking up time

7:30 a.m. but I am the last one that gets up and then I go to help my children to dress up. In the meanwhile my husband prepares me a breakfast that I eat once everyone is left.

My resumé

I used to work in fashion and communication. Then I decided to change.

I got the click while having my parental leave. But I always wanted to do something more creative, to express a part of myself.

I started with a blog in 2012. At the time I wanted to create a fashion brand for little girls and call it Queen Charlotte. Finally the project was not born but I gave the name (the one of a Japanese anemone) to my blog.

It allowed me to project myself as a photographer, even though photography has always been one of my passions. I used to participate at many trainings and internships. I even used the argentique camera of my father while going to Spain!

I do not know why I did not start before, since it corresponds to me: creativity, independence, flexibility in the organization.

I love the idea of not having acquired everything already, that it is evolutionary and the idea of all the way I have to go as a professional, as an artist.

It is also a work of introspection that I like: to find things from the inside to express myself.

My job, my passion

Having a job being also my passion is my greatest luxury, my greatest chance (made possible thanks to the support of my husband).

Today my time is divided between artistic direction and styling, photography and web content and social networks for brands, many in the world of child and home.

I would like to...

... be recognized as an artist - photographer. For me the word "artist" is linked with freedom. I still feel very small, but that is what I would like to tend to.

My day

Children are at school or nursery until 5 pm so the day passes at full speed. I juggle between the appointments I hold in the morning, shootings, editing, photography, or video.

And then there are the social networks that occupy a very important place on a daily basis. InstagramFB or Snapchat are essential for the job I do.

In the evening it happens sometimes that I’m still working with my computer. But it happens less and less often. I need a time for myself and my couple.

My Organizational Tips

Prepare children's outfits in the evening.

Prepare meals in advance. On Saturday morning I cook for the rest of the weekend because it goes so fast with the kids!

All my appointments are in the morning. And I keep my afternoons for the production.

I also try to be up to date with my mails and not let them accumulate.

My mantra

"Less is more".

It's a sentence that comes back all the time and very naturally in my life.

My tips for getting started

To have loads of sincerity and determination. I am convinced that when we do things in a passionate and sincere way, we inevitably reach something.

We also have to be able to bear the "roller coaster" because we are often "up and down" ...

Finally, we must not be afraid to express ourselves, to sell ourselves, to start. But by exposing oneself one must also be ready to endure sometimes some criticisms. In short, every day is adventure!

Next challenge

Change your life: go green.

24/7 online fashion

Yes Yes Yes !

But I do not endure it. I just love it. To share, to exchange, the meetings that are made through the social networks. For me it's a great booster.

Work at home

I just love it. For reasons of convenience above all. And I am lucky to have a real home office with an incredible view of the Monts d'Or.

One moment off

There are almost none and I accept it.

The job I dreamed of

When I was 16, I wanted to be psychologist for children!

What I learned from my mistakes

That we have to know how to listen before speaking. I learned to be a little more discreet and more patient.

An advice

My father always says, "You must not hesitate to be generous, when you give, life gives it back to you."

Do not hold back but share. Give.
