What kind of mother are you?

I don’t find myself too harsh… But I was told that I’m a great mom so everything’s fine then! I try not to forbid anything, but I fixe some rules on hygiene, food, politeness, schedules and assignments of cours.

I want to share with them this “savoir-être”, being open-minded, curious and polite. I want them to be comfortable in any environment.

As my two boys will soon be teenagers, I am very vigilant to a communication that is the most important today: talking, discussing, not to break the link between us that can sometimes be tenuous.

I think myself as a mother that listens and is present.

Your little happiness?

In general, we try to eat every Friday evening together. Either at home, or in a Japanese Palais Royal neighborhood.

Every Saturday morning we go to the Tennis Club outside Paris. While our sons play, my husband and I have a coffee and talk. It’s OUR moment for both of us, whatever happens. I love it.

Dream holidays with your family?

Our ski week for four of us :  unbeatable.

Going for an adventure: we have traveled a lot together (Madagascar, Thailand, USA etc.). Ending up in the tribes in Roquebrune Cap Martin, in a place that I give you as a gift in my address book. A real dream for family holidays!

A “No-kids allowed” break?

Oh yes: vital for us, and we don’t even feel guilty ! We often go for a week-end. The last one, we have been to London and we already know our next destination: Glasgow.
