Guided tour
We live in the heart of Sentier neighborhood. I would have a hard time leaving this place now. You can do so many things by foot here; there are many restaurants and merchants at Nil street and Montorgueil area. Our apartment is super bright and we have already transformed it few times, depending on the different moments in our live. We have moved in here as a couple and now we’re four ! Lately we had to create a new room to make a place for our son Adam and change the living room and the entrance. I love this exercice: to re-think the place we live in. Every time we reach to find some new resources.
We mix the decoration: designers’ lamps for instance (there is a beautiful selection at Bon Marché) with a furniture bought at flea markets (for example our bookshelf). We also like to make some DIY and recycling projects: our kitchen table for instance is an old door that we put on four legs; or our 1960s chairs found in ancient offices.
I like delicacy in colours: grey, white and green, my husband’s favorite colour. I love changing accessories (rugs, pillows and even works of art on the wall! ) to create different atmosphere every season. I buy all the time mini-vases (if possible, made with Italian colours) and candles, especially those at Acqua Di Parma and Astier de Villate. My husband has many passions, including old movie posters that can be found a little bit everywhere at home, and paintings, we have some of his artworks on our walls.
