INTERIOR

MY FLAT

I live in the 11th and 13th district since a long time. Here I can really breath thanks to the clear view, my terraces, the building opposite to the Seine and the Bercy Park nearby.

I live here since 12 years with my son Nils. My daughter Alice also live in Paris.

I feel so well here. Luckily because I spend a lot of my time here as I work from home.

WITH A MAGIC TRICK I WOULD…

I’d wish I can have the same flat but in a district less “cold” as the « high Marais », the north of Paris (Abesses, Caulincourt). Or let’s dream… the 6st district near the Furstenberg place!

MY CITY

I adore Paris, I feel so good here. But as all the Parisian I like to leave and come-back. I sometimes need fresh air, green.

MY WEEKENDS

When I am in Paris it’s: Yoga, shopping consulting for a client, writing for the blog, diner with friends to my « cantine » on Saint Anne street (Higuma).

On Sundays I go running and I see friends.

Otherwise I go to my hut in the Hortillonages near Amiens. It is reachable only with a small boat ! Without running water and electricity but with the Wi-Fi, I almost feel like Robinson Crusoé!

FRESH AIR 

I am not against changing my way of life: leaving for Bali or Thailand. Maybe in California or in Montréal.

But I don’t leave Paris for province, maybe because I came from it.

Adventure attracts me… Child I wanted to became Paula in Daktari.

MY STYLE

That’s not something I am really found of, at least less than about fashion or books. I really prefer books! But I think that atmosphere is really important.

I like makeshift interiors. I am thinking about my coffee table made with an Indian wardrobe. I prefer bargain-hunted furniture, different things.

I like nod, things off the wall – sometimes even kitsch! - that reminds me good moment or trip.  As for the Prince picture I have brought back from a concert in Montréal, or for the log found in Megève.

I love contrasts, unexpected things and deco not too serious with touches of humour.

I would never live in a place which look like an hospital or is too minimalist.

MY DECO FIXATION

If I had a crush on something it would be on cushions or candles. We don’t see very clearly at my place, it’s kind of dark: I hate ceiling lights!

I find my cushions at Petit Pan, Monoprix or Fragonard.

For the smells I use incense.

MY FAVORITE MOMENT

In summer, when I have my breakfast on my terrace: what a privilege! It’s a real ritual for me.

WHAT SIGNS AN INTERIOR

It must have a real personality and a mix of gender. Not a copy and paste of trends. I love when there is a bit of everything: cheap, chic, bargain-hunt and family stuffs. As for fashion.

MY DREAM

I’d love to have a dressing and a "shoesing"!

ARTISTS AT HOME

Michel Comte, I have a Sharon Stone picture, I’d like to have more.

I dream of having a Monica Vitti picture of Chiara Samugheo.

ON MY BEDSIDE TABLE

Books, novel of Jim Harrison, La petite voix of Eileen Caddy or Les Quatre Accords Tolteques of Don Miguel Ruiz.

And a hand cream that I always forget to use!

MY FAVORITE STUFF

A painting with a hot-air-balloon: painting on glass which date from 18th century. And the angel just under, it was at my parent’s place.

I am not looking for anything; it just falls on me: real meeting.
